About Bright Sprout

Where tiny beginnings bloom - and NICU parents find real support.

Bright Sprout was created for parents navigating the unexpected, emotional, and often overwhelming journey of the NICU.

Behind Bright Sprout is Jeri, a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner with over 26 years of NICU experience. After decades at the bedside caring for the tiniest patients and supporting their families through some of life’s most fragile moments, one truth become clear:

NICU parents need more than information - they need support that feels human.

Bright Sprout was built to bridge the gap between:

  • Clinical care and emotional support

  • Medical understanding and real-life coping

  • Surviving the NICU and finding meaning within it

  • Real-life NICU guidance from years of bedside experience

Our Heart

This is more than a website…It is a place for:

  • Understanding

  • Encouragement

  • Reflection

  • Growth

Because even in the smallest beginnings…

there is strength, there is hope, and there is a story worth holding onto.

Hi I’m Jeri…

“I’ve stood beside hundreds of NICU beds. I’ve celebrated first breaths, first feeds, and long-awaited homecomings. I’ve also sat with families through uncertainty, fear, and exhaustion.

Bright Sprout is everything I wished I could hand to parents in those moments - something to guide them, support them, and remind them they are not alone.”

Gentle guidance. Clinical clarity.

Because every family deserves to understand the care their baby receives.
